Man, I remember on the old boards we barely used to mention the music, let alone the band. It was banter all the way through, and if it was not banter, then it was messing about and laughing at weirdos.

In my german fanforum it looks very similar but we have at least 5,5 posts per day.

We could think about adding the two forums together to get more activity. I could add an english part to my forum with the same boards like here and maybe a little bit more.

Yes, but everyone speaks english too. Not very well but good enough to communicate with you. So if we add an english subforum i think they will post in the english when there is activity.
